About this event
The Career Guidance Unit of the University of Peradeniya, in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, successfully concluded the Inter-University Financial Literacy Quiz Competition 2026 on 7th July 2026 at the Department of Statistics and Computer Science, University of Peradeniya.
The competition brought together talented student teams representing 12 state universities across Sri Lanka. The participants demonstrated their knowledge, teamwork, and competitive spirit through 06 exciting rounds, covering a wide range of financial literacy and finance-related topics.
We are delighted to congratulate the winning universities:
🥇 Champions – University of Sri Jayewardenepura
🥈 First Runner-Up – University of Colombo
🥉 Second Runner-Up –University of Moratuwa
The occasion was honoured by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya; the President and CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Quiz Master Dr. Ashvini Amarasinghe; distinguished guests, university representatives, staff members, and students.
We sincerely appreciate the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, all participated universities, coordinators, students, guests, and staff whose support and commitment made this event a memorable success while promoting financial literacy and university collaboration.
