University to Community (U2C)

U2C is the University’s Social Responsibility (USR) initiative conducted by the CGU, intending to make a positive impact on the social, educational, and mental wellbeing of our communities through public events and activities.

Our Engagement

We actively engage the public, sharing our knowledge and resources to make a difference locally, nationally, and internationally.

Student Responsibility

We ensure graduates develop ethical, social, and environmental responsibilities. U2C functions heavily with the support of volunteers and the Robarosiya society.

Working Student Assistantship Programme (WSAP)

WSAP is a short-term placement of undergraduates as trainees with externship providers within the University. Funded by Alumni members and donors, this program assists students financially while developing their career skills toward a self-led future.

"We firmly believe that creating a culture of being responsible and accountable while earning will positively impact the student rather than giving free money in the form of scholarships/bursaries."

Programme Objectives

1

To create a responsible and accountable culture through an effective work-study programme.

2

To create practical work exposure in the university to increase the career skills of students.

3

To strengthen the function of the university and the relationship of the university community.

4

To assist students in earning while studying in a dignified manner.
