About this event
The Career Guidance Unit (CGU), University of Peradeniya, in collaboration with the Chief Secretary’s Office – Central Province, successfully conducted an Awareness Session on Government Competitive Examinations on 16th October 2025 at the CGU Seminar Room.
The session aimed to enhance undergraduates’ understanding of career opportunities in the Sri Lankan public sector, focusing on major executive services such as SLAS, SLEAS, SLPS, and SLSS.
Distinguished resource persons representing key administrative services shared their insights on the scope, responsibilities, and examination processes, while also guiding students on effective preparation strategies.
The interactive panel discussion that followed allowed students from all nine faculties to engage directly with the speakers, making the session both informative and inspiring.
A heartfelt thank you to all the resource persons for their valuable contributions and to the enthusiastic undergraduates who participated.
